Lunch
Foodie Greg ventured to Amazon Fresh for the first time and, among other things, picked up a bargain BBQ Chicken and a French Loaf.
- The French Bread was 99c or 33c per serve
- The Rotisserie Chicken was $4.97 for a good sized bird, and we shared a Breast, or 63c per serve
- Add 45c for Semi-dried Tomato
- Add 50c for Garlic Spread.
While not a Baguette, the French Bread was okay, while the Chicken was moist and up to standard. A good lunch for $1.97 per serve.
Dinner
After lunch at The Country Deli just before our road trip, we decided we generally prefer the take out experience, particularly with our ‘hack’ of the Marinated Skirt Steak Dinner into two meals.
We split the meat evenly. Foodie Greg got the Vegetable side, while Foodie Philip got the Home Fries and three home-added Fried Eggs. With tax, tip and Eggs it was $16.65 per serve.
