Mar 11: Scrambled Eggs on Toast; Cuban Picadillo on Brown Rice

Lunch

For lunch we scrambled two Eggs each and served on a toasted slice of Dave’s Killer Bread.

• Dave’s Killer Bread is 34c per slice
• Pastured Eggs are 51c each or $1.02 per serve
• Add 20c for Butter.

We used the slow cook method bringing the eggs up from cold in a cold pan, which resulted in very soft curds. Excellent Eggs for $1.56 per serve.

Dinner

We finally finished the Cuban PIcadillo tonight, served with Cuban Style Black Beans.

• Black Beans are 99c or 50c per serve
• The Cuban Picadillo is $2.89 per serve.

Even at the third serve the Picadillo is a great stew for $3.39 per serve.
