Lunch
Around 2:30 am the Foodies were told to “get out” under a mandatory fire evacuation order. We delayed until 5:30am but decided it was time to go. Ultimately we ended up with nearby friends, who cooked scrambled eggs for breakfast, which also turned out to be lunch.
We were evacuated from that location at 2pm, at which time we got more dry ice for the refrigerator and decided to stay home.
Dinner
With no power, and no idea when it would come back on, the Foodies picked up another salad from Trader Joes: Crunchy Slaw with Chicken, Crispy Noodles and Peanut Dressing, which also turned out to be pretty good for $4.49 per serve.
Power, surprisingly, came back on just after 6pm.
