Lunch
While power was restored around 6pm last night, it was gone again by 9am today due to a Public Safety Shutdown caused by high winds. At that time reinstatement is uncertain.
We decided to clean as much from the refrigerator and made Chicken Curry Sandwiches.
- Dave’s Killer Bread is 66c per serve
- The Curry Chicken Salad is $4.49 and we each had half, or $2.25 per serve.
A decent sandwich for $2.91 per serve.
Dinner
Still without power, we went to Trader Joes and picked up two Lemon Chicken and Arugula Salads for $4.49 each. This was surprisingly good for a prepared salad, mostly due to an excellent Pimento dressing.
